Paradise emerges near the southern edge of the Stygian Shore, where a moderate-sized cove has been crafted from years of intense, ocean-side weathering. The beaches are soft and warm between pressed toes, and further upshore palm trees and coconuts are abundant, packing in the perimeter of the territory with a clear, visual divide. The remainder of Caladan Cove's lands are protected by a large rock-face, with small trails winding up the side of the wall to offer shelter and better views of the ocean.

May 11, 2024 There is tension between the Hollows and Cove as Alexander disapproves of Miaran and calls her a usurper. Miaran declines their help and leaves without healing.

May 8, 2024 Aphrodite joins the Cove as the Sovereign. She has equal power to Miaran.

May 5, 2024 Miaran is in discussion with the leaders of the Oasis, the Hollows and the Bluffs regarding alliances.

All pride laws can (and are encouraged to) be known upon joining.

1. The High Sovereign and Sovereign hold the same power on the throne. Sovereign may fight for High Sovereign if Miaran is uncapable.
2. At the risk of disbanding, the pride will fall to the Sovereign. Secondary to that, the Heir/ess.
3. All pride ranks can be contested, with the exception of the leader ranks.
4. Allies can cross borders freely, all others must be welcomed at the borders. Intruders must be dealt with swiftly.
5. Reti is the only Obsidian Hollows Lion allowed to cross the borders freely as he has a personal alliance with Miaran. All others must be met with caution and any passing into the territory must be swiftly dealt with.
6. Under Miaran's reign, there are no prisoners and everyone can leave as they wish.

With the Oasis being a Cautious Enemy and the Bluffs being Neutral Friendly with the Cove, Keligan has arrived to the challenge to see the results. Two Voids Don't Make A Light -- The Three Leaders of the Summit have come to speak with Keligan and Kvare. What is in store with this visit as the two prides were once enemies, with the Cove's Heir being brother to Morrigan, how will this visit turn out?

Brother In Arms -- Astarte, Gauthier's sister, has come seeking on any news about the previous High Sovereign. But Keligan gives her some bad news.

Treasure -- Keligan and Sunder's first litter has arrived and with it, possibly an omen? A daughter is born with strawberry pelt and not breathing. But what does that mean for the Gaia lion? And what does that mean for the cub herself?

Cliffside Sisters -- Finishing his talk with Alaric and co, Keligan heads East towards the Bluffs to talk to Amara and co about re-kindling the alliance that the Cove once had with the Bluffs under Gauthier's rule.

Let's Start Again -- After being successful on allying with Ryker and the Rainforest, Keligan heads south to the Mire to hopefully re-kindle the alliance that the Cove and Mire once had under Gauthier.

The Pools Warm, Jump In -- Keligan and Sunder take a moment to themselves where she tells him that she is pregnant with his second litter of cubs. Which he happily accepts.

relentless -- Kvare returns back to the Cove as a mess after the storm. Keligan offers to help him search for his missing twin and gives him the rank of Lead Fighter. A promise is given that Kvare could become Noble if he proved himself to Keligan over time.

CC Claim Thread --- Gauthier is swept out to sea after a storm hits the Cove in the middle of the night, causing the pride to disband. As soon as the dust settles, Nephthys is the first to try to lay claim to the pride land. Keligan counters her and they fight a bloody battle. Unlike other Challenges, this one does not extend into a War. Keligan ends up winning the Cove, becoming the newest High Sovereign, which Nephthys gives a threat before leaving. Automatically, there is tension with the Oasis with Keligan kicking all AO members out. What will happen in the future between the two prides?

( in the company of killers ) — Vaghan returns to strike a claim against Wolfbron, a towering shadow that has darkened their doorstep once before. Some of the Caladan lions arrive to support the lions of the Bluffs, given their alliance.

white sands — Following Ryker's success in the claim over the Rainforest, he has arrived in Caladan to strike what appears to be a simple alliance with a King who is anything but a politician. Amiable, humble terms are best. What could go wrong?

Claim for Firnen Rainforest — After the Rainforest was devastated by a calamitous landslide, Olive and Ryker met at its abandoned heart to wager its new leadership. As Ryker proves victorious, Keligan is present to witness and promises to bring news in the hope of a new alliance for Caladan.

Call His Wrath — Rainer Rike issues a challenge against Queen Morrigan of Illyria Summit! It quickly devolves into a war as lines are drawn and allies flock to their sides - Caladan supporting the Rike and the Mire.

lift a sail — Following the events of the challenge, in which Keligan defended the intrusions across the Caladanian border by initiating a fight with the Obsidian Hollow's High Sovereign, Keligan finds the Hollow's own Dog just outside the perimeter in the Stygian Shores. There is an immediate tension at brew, and the actions taken may further shape Caladan's relationship with the Hollow.

open claim for SL — As the volatile weather still preys upon the southern edges of Amaryllis, new challengers rise to take hold of the Scilla Lagoon - namely, the former woman King Alizabeth. With much to be gathered on the political line, Gauthier and Ludivine seek out who is to be their new neighbor; and though Caladan does not find a certain loss or gain in the matter, Ludivine makes it clear there is a no-tolerance policy in matters of her own.

unreal city, — With prey scarce in the harsh winter laid over the region, Gauthier leads his hunting party in following migrating prey into the heat of the Badlands. It is not only a challenge as a whole but a test of effective teamwork for his pride.

make it nice — Magnus shows up on the borders, and while Avaneira and Morrigan prepared for the proper tongue-lashing that would certainly come from the Greyflood sisters challenging an ally for her pride, he instead comes with far more grave and mysterious news...

Time to do some Sketchy Shit — After Aquila leads a one-man raid on the Rainforest, not one but two death matches break out. Aquila manages to slay Sangria, but Valhalla, father to Avaneira's children, is not so lucky.

infinitely alive — Avaneira Greyflood challenges her uncle, Drakon Tollaire, for the Cove in a test of strength and fortitude. After an intense battle, she emerges the bruised and battered victor, but what will happen in the fallout between her family?

To the Victor go the Spoils — High Sovereign Sangria meets the newly-crowned Avaneira on her borders to discuss potential pride relations, unknowing that the Rainforest Queen has some serious beef against the Cove Queen's baby daddy.

They have invited all of the coves neighbors and allies, as well as those rogues that were invited by others! Make sure you're on your best behavior, folks, because with this many lions in one place, who knows what will happen!

CC Pride hunt April — The lions of the cove have once again proven their prowess when it comes to hunting and brought yet more food to the growing pride!

By Invitation — A lion has trespassed into the cove! He's met by many of the members, but time will tell if he escapes with his hide intact.

The fine art of not dying — Jewel has started a training event to teach members of the Cove defense should they be interested in learning!

Raid the Coffers — Jewel calls together another pride hunt, hoping to ensure that the pride has enough to eat.. as well as to do some subtle testing so that she can fill the vacancies in their ranks left by Hecuba's decision to step away from Noble, and by Vysemala's promotion to Sovereign.

Next of Kin — Vasilis vanishes and the Lagoon falls. In a twist event, Pistis steps up to claim and wins the fight for the Lagoon. This leaves the two prides once more tied together as allies, or so Jewel hopes.. given their proximity with one another.

CC Monthly pride hunt — A rather stupid goat has wandered into the territory and is swiftly brought down by the lions of the pride! Looks like the Cove will be eating more than fish for a while!

Expecting Company — Gwyn, the once King of the Hollow has returned and he's been injured most grievously! Jewel has permitted the Casimir male to take refuge within the Cove - to be close to his mate.. As long as he behaves himself. She's called the ranked members of the pride together to give them a heads up, and to tell them of the expectations when it comes to the male.

Rocky Start — Jewel has approached the new leader of the Hollow to inquire about an alliance between the cove and the hollow - time will tell whether or not the pride can be allies across the board.

One lady to another — Jewel once more on the 'warpath' when it comes to creating alliances has approached Vermeda to speak to their leader. She is curious about these 'natives' and as such has many questions for them!

Left to Dry — The pride has embarked on a hunt, successfully, might we add! Perhaps another will be done in the coming weeks to keep the pride full and satisfied.

Seafood Buffet — Lady Vysemala has taken the children and some of the younger adults to fishing so that they can learn some valuable skills.

Weight of the Crown — Following the challenge for Wolfbron Bluffs, Jewel and Bright Heart have stayed around just long enough to discuss relations with the pride before departing back across the realm of Amaryllis.

Drifting Sands and Shifting Tides — With Jyzara's injury forcing her to step down to heal, Jewel calls a pride meeting and open invite to rogues to discuss new members, ranks and to put out suggestions for the Sovereign and Heir of the pride.

Company is Coming — The new King of Andal has arrived at the borders to speak to Jewel about alliances between their prides. Will this put Caladan on the map as allies with all the current prides? And how long can that peace last?

Will it Blend — Jewel approaches the new leader of Scilla Lagoon to inquire about an alliance between their prides.

The Answer — An attempt to settle some differences between Obsidian and the Lagoon has turned into a bloodbath. So far, the Cove has managed to remain neutral on the sidelines, but with Lady Hecuba's husband on one side of the fighting, how long can the cove remain neutral?

Whispers in the dark — Jewel approaches Obsidian Hollow with discussions of pride relations between the two vanguard prides.

Home away from home — The fog has lifted and the first steps of lions come to lay claim to these lands. Jewel stakes her claim upon the Cove and is immediately challenged by an experienced king, Drakon. After an intense and bloody battle, the ebony female emerges victorious, claiming her children immediately into the safety of the pride.
