Once her, Reah, and Aeistrios had finished their private meeting, and Renfri had ensured a physical exam to ensure the health of her pregnancy, there was nothing holding the Heiress back from beginning preparations. The first step was to call the pride together, to ensure that they knew what was coming, and the potential dangers beyond their borders. She found a good spot, a rock that jutted out to form a moderately sized ledge large enough for the three leaders to all sit side by side and perched on the edge, looking out before she let out a call loud enough for all within the territory to hear. Many had been welcomed in by Reah and Aeist, but she hoped that they would still recognize the authority in her voice and understand that her call was not a request. Hearing the summons the girl got herself up and made her way to the meeting place. Since joining the pride she hadn’t done much but hopefully that will change soon. Not that she didn’t enjoy being lazy and sunbathing when the sun came out though the winter clouds. It was just she was the type that also enjoyed having a task to do. Maybe she’ll go hunting later after this meeting. In any case coming into view of the one who had called she nodded her head and gave a smile. "Kayla." She said respectfully as she took a moment to take a seat before laying down on her belly to get comfortable.

Reah was glad that Renfri wasn’t wasting any time. Her call brought the Queen to her paws, moving forward and sitting beside the smaller lioness. Her dark obsidian gaze glanced over at the other lioness. She seemed to be a new member that was recruited by Aeistrios or Renfri. She introduced herself as Kayla, and Reah nodded to her as a signal of understanding. Reah then glanced over at Renfri and gave her a small and quiet nod. The woman would lower her rump towards the large stone that they found themselves upon, curling the tip of her tail over her paws. Deathly Cold

+5 - Prepare an item for a ritual or rite

Silas had been working in his den when the summoning call had been made. It was something he knew he couldn’t simply ignore… despite not being thrilled to answer. He had not done much in the way of making his mark in the pride (or even being much help) since he and his sister had arrived. To be fair, though, he had been working on something that seemed to have pulled him out of his recent depressive state brought on by the death of his brother not so long ago.

It was the zebra pelvis he had been working on that he believed was now key to breaching the barrier between the living and the dead… the runes he was etching were said by their mother to hold magical properties and together could be very powerful.

But now he had a meeting to attend.

He groaned, lifting himself to his feet. He hesitated… thinking about bringing the pelvis with him. He dismissed the idea – but maybe – but what an impression that would make – but it WAS something he needed to finish before sundown…. Quickly Silas snatched up the pelvis, half-carved runes littering its surface, as he made his way to the meeting place.

Once he had arrived, he was shocked to see that only two had come before him. Assuming @Reah had made the call, Silas would look to her and nod a silent greeting. He did not know the other two, but he duly noted that one was perched atop the stone where the Sovereign sat.

For now, he would find a spot out of the way of those who would be arriving so he could quietly work on his etching. A claw extended; he would turn his attention to the bone between his paws until the meeting commenced.

Mavour arrived on scene in her own time, however it still seemed she was rather punctual. Upon arrival she saw that there were 2 leaders among them… then a stranger she had not yet met, and her brother waiting to be addressed by the one who had summoned them here. Mavour simply did not hold much interest for the stranger, as cold as that may sound… so instead she decided to approach her brother, a look of disgust painting her features.

“Why did you bring that disgusting thing? And what are you doing to it?” She huffed quietly, brow hiked. She had known her mother to do strange things similar to that… but she and her two brothers had often merely mocked her for it in secret. Why now would he begin to take to such sorcery and witchcraft.

She laid next to him, sprawling out with hind legs kicked to the side and forepaws crossed elegantly. She leaned up against Silas, waiting for an explanation as she flicked her tail carelessly.

She isn't used to be summoned. Still, it's a voice she recognizes and that wa ssaying something. Lorien is still new to her, and vice versa, and it's with patient paws that she attends. The gathered group is small and filled with strangers -- her marred gaze cuts to each of them in turn. Intent on remembering and recognizing her new pride mates. One of them gives her name ( @Kayla ) and she is quick to follow suit, the introduction framed in a small chuff. Willow, she says; it's close enough to the truth. They won't know the difference, at least. Easily she seats herself, gaze lingering upon @Renfri. Patient curiosity turning her severe features, waiting for the reason.

It is an odd existence, that has proved far quieter and less demanding than that she has escaped. But even she must venture out into society when bidden. What was she? If not a creature of service?

Sayen sweeps in to the meeting quietly and though there are few that had arrived thus far, she takes her seat at the back. Her gaze passes over those she does not know and wonders idly what their occupations are, what contribution they offer to their pride. It would far outweigh her own, she would bet. She being only a doll, to be posed and used for amusement.

But there is so much more beneath the surface of those large blue eyes, that stare blankly forward. Though it would forever be difficult to tell.

He didn't really know what was going on, but was quick to follow on the heels of new-mama @Reah. Time in the pride, with real care and support, had plumped him up a bit, given his curly fur a healthier sheen. He was still small and, thus, slow on stubby cub legs, but he did his best to keep up, and when she sat, he thought nothing of following her up onto the rock and plopping himself down against one of her forelimbs. Curious gaze darted between faces, lingering a little longer on the stranger with the funny-looking bone as he tried to puzzle out what it was for and what he was doing.

@Renfri calls out for the pride - something he expected from the last of the talks he had with her and Reah. Aeistrios was still sore, his battered frame worn out and tired, and he'd been happy to rest in his den for the past couple hours. However, now as he pulled himself up, he found a certain longing for the peace his den brought. Instead, he was left to suffer the feeling of tense muscles and irritating wounds.

There was a handful of members already shown, sitting around and waiting for the word of what was happening. Aeistrios drinks in the sight - the sight of his members, of his wives, of those loyal to the Plains - to him. It boosts his pride, ego rising higher than ever, and he finds a satisfaction as he continues to stroll back forward. Some faces he surprisingly didn't know as well as others, and he assumed that was because of the recruiting efforts his wives had been putting in. Which only satisfied him even more.

Instead of taking place besides Reah and Renfri, Aeistrios goes the lazy route. He halts near @Mavour and @Silas , purple eyes scanning them before he smirks slyly, seeing the bone the male had between his paws. Damn, Aeistrios should of brought a snack too. "Got anymore snacks? These things can get boring." He comments, amusement in his gaze but his words were serious, and his stomach even more so. He peered to the bronze lioness then, her laid form sprawled out by Silas, hind legs kicked to the side. Aeistrios attempted to lay himself out near her - not too close, but enough to make it obvious he was inviting himself into their space. They were his pridemates after all, right? They shouldn't mind - plus he didn't get to meet them officially, and maybe they didn't even know who he was, either.

He caught glimpse of @Sayen as well, her white pelt hard to miss and he catches himself staring at her for a good moment. He wondered what she had been up to - what she was planning, what thoughts were brewing behind her skull. He made a mental note to go and find her later, to see how she was. @Wylodine and @Kayla were all greeted by him with a brief nod, but his focus then drew to Reah and Renfri, noting the presence of @Cub with a smirk, awaiting for them to start talking.

Sure, he should be up there too. But they handled the talking way better, and he'd jump in if he really needed to. As for now? He'd sit with his people, equal, and relax among the grasses with them while everyone was gathered.

Deathly Cold

Silas barely graced his sister with a glance as she arrived with disgust adorning her features. As he continued his delicate work, he flicked an ear at her scoffing. “You’re not daft.” He grumbled, tilting his head as he etched a new rune. “You know perfectly well.”

She had plopped herself next to him… well, into him really, as he acted as her support while she lounged around in front of the leaders. He rolled his eyes, wishing she had gone and bothered someone else.

It was then a large, dark-pelted male approached, at least 2 years their elder. Silas’ attention was finally torn from his craft, watching the man carefully for any signs of hostility or ill intent. Sure, they were of the same pride… but that didn’t mean much to Silas. To him, others were still a potential threat up until they’d proven trustworthy.

Thankfully, the male seemed lighthearted enough. His purple gaze looking between the two siblings before he decided to make himself comfortable next to Mavour. Silas looked back at his bone, an ear shifting to the side.
